Lloyd's Antiques' British-made leather sofas are exquisite vintage Reborn pieces, breathing new life into original frames crafted between the 1950s and 1980s. Reimagined for modern living through uncompromising craftsmanship, the aged leather and internal materials are entirely renewed, finished with high-resilience urethane and premium cowhide.
Each sofa is meticulously treated using a traditional hand-dyeing technique, giving rise to charming, individual variations in tone and texture. This distinctive process creates a rich, lustrous patina that is truly one-of-a-kind.

Crafted in England

These leather sofas are meticulously crafted upon the foundation of vintage frames originally built in England. While the specific wood may vary depending on the original piece, we carefully select frames primarily constructed from robust beech wood.
Honoring this traditionally British foundation, the sofa is expertly reshaped using high-resilience urethane, and finally hand-upholstered in premium tanned leather to achieve its timeless silhouette.

かつてイギリスで製造されたヴィンテージフレームをベースに、本国で丹念に仕立て直された英国製のレザーソファです。ベースとなる素材は個体によって若干異なりますが、主に堅牢なビーチ材（ブナ材）を使用したフレームを厳選しています。
英国伝統の確かな骨組みを活かし、高品質なウレタンで快適な座り心地のベースを形成。さらに上質ななめし革を丁寧に張り込むことで、美しく気品のあるソファのシルエットを創り出しています。

Hand Dyed

The russet hides chosen for these sofas represent less than 1% of the world's upholstery leather, selected specifically for their true, unrefined beauty.
Embracing the Japanese ethos of Wabi-Sabi—finding perfection in imperfection—these leathers proudly display natural scars, unique grain patterns, and varying absorbency rates, ensuring that no two pieces are ever exactly alike.
Rather than using pre-dyed materials, each piece is first upholstered in raw leather. Only then are bespoke dyes carefully mixed and applied entirely by hand to suit the individual character of each sofa.
The ultimate goal is a deep, natural patina. Looking to the future, hand-dyed pieces hold exceptional intrinsic value in the vintage and antique markets, maturing with an unsurpassable beauty that only grows richer over time.

手染め染色

使用されるラセットレザーは、世界の家具用皮革のトップ1％にも満たない、極めて希少な最高品質のものです。
自然のありのままの姿に美しさを見出す「侘び寂び」の精神を体現し、革が本来持つ天然の傷やシワ、部位による染料の吸い込み具合の違いを、それぞれの個性が生み出す美しい味わいとして活かしています。
最大の特徴は、あらかじめ染められた革を使うのではなく、無垢のヌメ革をソファに張り込んだ後に染色を行う点です。完成したソファの表情を見極めながら独自の染料を調合し、職人が一点一点手作業（Hand Dyed）で染め上げていきます。
目指しているのは、深みのある自然な風合いの完成です。手染めで仕上げられたソファは、将来ヴィンテージやアンティークとして受け継がれていく際にも確かな価値を持ち、時を重ねるごとに比類のない美しい経年変化をお楽しみいただけます。

Available Colors

We offer our bespoke sofas in four distinctive hand-dyed colors:

・Olive
A quintessential traditional British leather color. Characterized by a deep, calming green hue, it creates an understated yet highly sophisticated and mature atmosphere.

・Mustard
A warm, earthy yellow with subtle brownish undertones, reminiscent of classic British interiors. Its distinctive yet muted tone pairs beautifully with traditional buttoned detailing, offering a striking presence that adds a touch of vintage vibrancy to any room.

・Cognac
Reminiscent of fine brandy, this color boasts a deep, amber-brown hue. Combining refined luxury with inviting warmth, it offers an exceptionally rich and complex shade among our brown leathers.

・Red
A profound red elevated by the unique variations and luster of the hand-dyeing process. It exudes a beautifully aged, vintage character and a dignified elegance, as if cherished for generations.
